Summary

Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he's willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.

Easily my favorite entry in the series. Coming from The Last of Us success, the series went into a more storytelling-heavy direction, with Uncharted 4 basically being a mix of both series, combining exciting adventure, gripping narrative, and memorable set pieces, making this game an absolute blast.

Visuals received a significant upgrade; an 8-year-old game is still on par with today's standards. Have to point out rich location variety: Italy, Scotland, Madagascar, a tropical island, seriously impressive diversity.

Gameplay is the most enjoyable it has been; shooting finally feels punchy and satisfying. Puzzles are still pretty easy but are satisfying to figure out without sudden difficulty spikes.

The story is easily the best in the series; the introduction of a brother was surprising but natural, resulting in the most emotional and personal adventure yet. I enjoyed the new villain and his personal vendetta with Natham.

Solid, fun, emotional, and consistently enjoyable; can't recommend enough.
