Summary

A search for the fabled "Atlantis of the Sands" propels fortune hunter Nathan Drake on a trek into the heart of the Arabian Desert. When the terrible secrets of this lost city are unearthed, Drake's quest descends into a desperate bid for survival that strains the limits of his endurance and forces him to confront his deepest fears.

It’s as good as 2 but some complain there’s always action, no time to breathe but I’m not one to mind. I had a great time.

The story is not really for me. But the setpieces more than make up for it. Unforgettable moments that stick with you long after the credits roll. It’s a game you won’t forget, even if the plot doesn’t hit every note.

If you're after an unforgettable action experience, this game delivers. The plot may not stick, but the experience will.

Nothing beats Among Thieves in gaming industry but still, a great game. Just like Uncharted 2 and unlike Uncharted 1, it has aged pretty well IMHO.

My second favorite and also the first Uncharted entry I have ever played.

Visuals and environmental variety continue to improve; deserts look quite spectacular.

Combat this time around feels more solid; I especially like how you can chuck a grenade back to the enemies this time around.

Set pieces, especially the plane segment, are probably my favorite batch from the entire series.

I enjoy the origins of the relationship of Nathan and Sully depicted, but the villains continue to be rather weak in this series, but I did like the more personal history Nathan has with Marlowe. I also enjoy how since this entry the series stopped leaning more into mythical treasures the team is seeking out; it's, of course, subjective, but I did enjoy the twist Atlantis of The Sands had. Also, I really liked Charlie Cutter as a character, and it's a sin how he never appeared since this entry #justiceforCharlie.

A rather enjoyable entry I highly recommend; maybe not the most ambitious, but it's a lot of fun with no dull moment.

Probably my favourite of the original trilogy. Really glad they introduced more stealth elements and different weapon types.
