You have to play it smartly stealthy way by 2 characters to have the most enjoyable experience

Following its predecessor, it’s a stealth masterpiece, the game have a great villain that is unfolded during an entertaining story, the gameplay is fun and rewarding.

Having played as Corvo in the first game, it's a delight to experience playing as Emily in this one. What makes the journey truly engaging are the well constructed histories, and the dimensions given to the each character.

8/10 - for a brilliantly conceptualised game and that hauntingly beautiful 'Brigmore Lullaby'...
-2 for the high risk of accidental death when you're just trying to be stealthy and carry a sleeping load to safety. 😅

The sequel to the critically acclaimed Dishonored takes the experience to a new level, improving on nearly every aspect of its predecessor and offering more refined and versatile gameplay.

Dishonored 2 is truly a gem in the world of stealth and action video games, surpassing its predecessor in both technical and gameplay aspects. The freedom you have in approaching each objective, coupled with impressive level design and new powers, allows each player to tailor the experience to their own style. It's definitely a title every fan of the genre should try.

Positives:
- The option to choose between two playable protagonists (Corvo and Emily), each with their own unique skill set.
- Karnaca feels like a more vibrant and diverse city than Dunwall, with exceptional architecture.
- Memorable levels, such as the Clockwork Mansion, that showcase impressive creativity in their design.
- An improved combat and stealth system, offering more tactical options and smoother movement.
- A greater variety of enemies and situations that require you to constantly adapt.

Cons:
- Some performance issues on PC at launch.
- The story, while solid, fails to match the intensity of the first game.
- The chaos system may feel a bit predictable for series veterans.

Four missions into this game it seemed that Arkane was taking a safe approach in making the sequel to one of the most innovative AAA titles released in early 2010s, but as I moved further the gameplay unfolded itself i realized this is more than just "polished mechanics from the first game", the narrative became more layored and better-paced than the first game and levels were not only bigger but more thought-out.
Having yet to play the extension pack, I can say dishonored is definitely one of my favorite franchise and not only in games
