I don't understand why some people that admire the first game of the reboot don't like this game and say things like "it's like the first one" like lol what did you expect it to be? it's a same franchise what revolutionary change did you expect it to have within 2 years?


The game's quite good, if you liked the first one (omfg I mean the 2013 one) you're gonna like this too (those people described in the first paragraph excluded), story and characters are decent, gameplay is way smoother than the first one, there are new cool weapons, tools and skills and personally I liked the camera in this game more, the camera in the first game was kinda clunky. my only complaint is bs side quests, wtf was that? like ugh.
And I had minor audio issues on PS4?


I'm gonna play the DLC's.

This is the best game in the reboot trilogy. Its improvement to tomb puzzles, combat sections, upgrade tree, set pieces, story, and platforming makes this a standout. I wasn't a fan of the final boss encounter (just a little generic compared to the first game), but the build-up to the final boss was excellent.

the story was meh but the gameplay was better than the first one
