Summary

Join Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts as they enter a patient named Johnny's mind on his death bed to grant his final request. Watch, interact, and change the past as Johnny's life unfolds before you and takes you on a magical journey inside one's head that asks the greatest question of all: "What if...?" If you had the chance to relive your life, would you change things? Would you try to achieve some grand goal? Could you find love? Fame? Fortune? Or would you realize that sometimes the past is meant to stay the same. Join Dr. Rosalene and Watts on their journey and travel To The Moon.

So sensive and emotional.
I felt so many things playing this.
A amazing experience.

A flawless narrative that will bring you to cry. One of the most beautiful stories in the gaming history that proves that art has no limits!

"I always thought they were lighthouses" is just the equivalent to "+ booker, are you afraid of god? - no but im afraid of you" in indie games, two stunning and mind-blowing buildups that pay off just to make the player cry.
The gameplay could get lackluster sometimes but storywise this game easily joined the list of the best romances I've ever witnessed.

With genuinely interesting characters, rich symbolism, a great soundtrack and a tale full of heart and emotion, To The Moon will go down as one of the best stories in any indie game to date.

It's a short game, arguably best suited to be completed in one sitting similar to a movie, ideally with a warm tea and a box of tissues handy.

You will have to tolerate some shallow gameplay and clunky controls as a tradeoff for the game placing all its chips on the story. Furthermore, there are a few small potholes scattered throughout the story. But in a way, these contribute to the indie charm of To The Moon, which is a passion project from a small team of developers who just wanted to tell a story - a task they accomplished in spades.
