Summary

A first-person exploratory game taking place in 1995 in which Katie, a university student back from Europe, arrives at her family's newly inherited mansion only to find nobody there, with a note from her younger sister Sam suggesting that she's left home. Katie must explore the mansion to put together the stories of where her parents have gone and why Sam has decided to leave.

I was expecting a jumpscare the whole time

oh my God, I am crying. This game hits me right in the feels and the happy ending actually makes me feel better. I think I have soft spots for walking simulators like this and What remains of edith finch because they first thurst you into an unfamiliar place and then make it look familiar. Heartbreaks and emotional tears ensue.
I think I will never forget this story in my life. It was that good. ( ͡` ͜ʖ ͡´)
