Summary

The Talos Principle is a philosophical first-person puzzle game from Croteam, the creators of the legendary Serious Sam series, written by Tom Jubert (FTL, The Swapper) and Jonas Kyratzes (The Sea Will Claim Everything).

Superb puzzle game, challenging, philosophical and innovative.

No words are enough to describe this philosophical and thoughtful experience. One of my favorite games ever.

One of the best puzzle games ever made. More than just a game with "puzzles" this game gives a deep meaning, and message behind your actions, in a journey to understand what means to be "human" and what means to be "alive".

I am usually pretty bad at committing to puzzle games. I can usually play and enjoy them in short bursts, but I feel I need a little more going on to catch my interest.

There are a couple exceptions I've found.

Portal, with it's great humor and characterization

Golden Idol, because I love whodunnit stories

And finally Talos Principal, with it's heavy interest in exploring philosophical conundrums and subtle world building.

I have yet to get into TP2, but this one holds a special place for me.

Tried this one out while it was still on PS+ Extra. It seems pretty cool and unique, based on the first hour or so.
