Halo 4 marks the start of an epic new saga within the award-winning Halo universe. The Master Chief returns in this award-winning first-person shooter developed by 343 Industries. Shipwrecked on a mysterious world, faced with new enemies and deadly technology, the Chief returns to battle against an ancient evil bent on vengeance and annihilation...the universe will never be the same.
Four years after the events of Halo 3, the Master Chief returns in this award-winning first-person shooter. Battle through the campaign and explore the Forerunner planet, Requiem, as the Chief faces off with an ancient evil. Test your skills against familiar Covenant foes and new Promethean enemies in solo mode or with up to three friends on split-screen. With Xbox Live Gold Membership, access the online multiplayer and Spartan Ops missions.
I'm not a big fan of Del Rio, and the lore definitely felt a bit more convoluted and hard to ascertain, but this game more than makes up for those faults. We finally get to explore Master Chief's humanity (as much as you can with Master Chief). "Erm Master Chief showed too much emotion. He's supposed to be stoic and badass 24/7." My brother in Christ he is a human being. They displayed that in the only real way that made sense: Cortana. I absolutely loved the choice to finally dive into John and Cortana's relationship with, and dependency upon, one another.
Speaking of Cortana, holy cow! Rampancy be damned, break me off a piece of that KitKat bar! *bark bark bark* *old timey car horn honk* AND she's got jokes, what a woman.
"We were supposed to take care of each other."
"And we did."
