Halo 5: Guardians

I don't really understand how, after doing such a good job (imo) with Halo 4, they missed the mark this bad with Halo 5. My complaints summarized: They nerfed the DMR, they brought back aim cancelling when you take damage (why??), they made EVERYTHING Yellow in this game (WHY??), and they gave Master Chief a cute little team of Spartans which include people named Frederic and Linda (why not just Fred? Also there hasn't been anyone named Linda since 1935, am I supposed to believe that name has a huge resurgence in 500 years?). The most egregious sins of all however are these: Evil Cortana, and no Chief. In Halo 5, there are 15 missions. 3 of which involve no combat and are just you walking around talking to NPC's. Another 9 have you playing as Locke in team Osiris. Which means you only play as Master Chief in 3 of the 15 missions in this game. Who greenlit that decision?? I think the average 11 year old could have told you that was a less than amazing idea. The thing that really hurts me though, is the sheer laziness that came with handling Cortana as a character. Not only do they turn her evil (have you ever met Cortana?), but they did it in the most cliched way possible. Cortana comes to the realization that humans (and all the other aliens for that matter) are too self destructive and so she strips them all of their free will to implement an authoritarian level of "peace". I guess Elon Musk was right (please nobody tell him). I've gotten to know Cortana pretty well over the last several games, well enough to know that is aggressively outside her character. Just overall a huge disappointment and, decidedly, the worst Halo game to date.

It is a Mess!. Although i liked halo 4 and infinite but halo 5 is baaad compared to them i've never expected a halo game to be like this bad story bad map design repetitive bosses and enemies it doesnt have a good soundtracks like the previous ones

Worst halo game ever made

Not Halo. Just a complete mess of a game with no replay value and no soul like the first 3 games. Halo 4 and 5 are a joke.

Worst Halo game. We suffered through the campaign. Avoid it if you can.

Unfairly maligned for the story, which I thought was interesting and a nice little change. Good FPS campaign but I didn't play the online component so I can't comment on that.
