But when a black ops team breaks in and kills the scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes. At a time when scientific advancements are routinely turning athletes, soldiers and spies into super-enhanced beings, someone is working very hard to ensure mankind's evolution follows a particular path. I love the funny over the top nature of this game because it presents everything to you as very serious. I do miss more of the goofiness present in the original deus ex, but since the writing and themes hold up im not upset over it. Suffers from the same issue as dishonored 1 where the violent way to play the game is so much more fun than the pacifist strategy. FUCK EMBRACER GROUP FOR KILLING THE THIRD ONE EVIL SHITTY COMPANY THAT I HOPE DISSOLVES ENTIRELY AND ALL THE DEVELOPERS THERE GET WAY BETTER JOBS THAT PAY WAY MORE ELSEWHERE

Actually really good cyberpunk game, with full emerging atmosphere, you really experience the future, the story, characters personality. And music is gorgeous. Tho there are few minuses: no minimap, need to constantly croach/stand-up during missions, hacking is annoying. Because hacking gives exp and you can't farm exp, it's limited by amount of things you can do, you need to hack literally everything. Also for some reason lethal approach is punishable, by being loud and heavily reduced exp, tho there are tons of lethal weapons. And your skills build is dictated by game, you are forced to max hacking skills, then inventory size and other skills, that unlock new path opportunities, you can't just chose skills for fun, otherwise won't be able to complete half of missions or lose tons of potential exp.
