Summary

Dead Space Extraction tells the untold story of the Aegis VII Colony through a handful of survivors battling to reach the orbiting USG Ishimura amidst a horrific infection and the initial invasion by a violent alien race known as Necromorphs. As these survivors' allies mysteriously fall victim to dementia, it becomes clear that protecting a young girl granting them a bizarre immunity may be their only hope for survival in a struggle that could have implications for all of humanity.

Just replayed it and I have to say it still holds up. Gameplay, story and presentation are pretty good and there is some replay value. I still have to get all the upgrades, logs and stars. But its also laking in the bonus aspects. You seemingly can't read or listen, watch the logs again and you only see the overview of collectibles when you complete a level, which is unfortunate as you don't listen to everything during the action and I quickly closed some of the texts. It is is still a good game, one of the better light gun shooters we got for ps3 and a good addition to the dead space series, which adds some backstory but is not essential.

An on-rails shooter set in the Dead Space universe. Serviceable enough and came with my copy of Dead Space 2.

Brilliant game, very interactive and creative use of the controls. Shame it didn’t come to PS4 where it could have received some much needed graphical polish.
