Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

Retelling of re2 but in rail gun shooter, camera shaking is INSANE, the constant looking around and the slow pacing are just too much.

Replayed it and unlocked the two bonus chapters. What a dissapointment! For everything they did better than the predecessor they are also doing 3 or 4 things worse. The shaky cam is atrocious! It's not clear which objects can be destroy and which can't. Sometimes the same object can't be destroyed like a lamp even though it can be destroyed later on in the same level. The stories are better presented and you get an actual retelling of the games story, this time they retell part 2 code Veronica and a prequel to the 4th game. But the bosses sometimes also suck so much. The problem is that there are phases during which they are not taking damage and you can't see when. There are also moments where the don't react to shoots and keep attacking and with two bosses you have to use a rocket launcher or a linear gun and have to hit them in a specific moment which often doesn't work. The game also recycles the same areas over and over in the Veronica chapters. And they also recycle the ending for the special stages only that you then play as Krause and hear his vo and everything's a bit harder. The game in general gets quite a bit harder at the end of the Veronica chapters. The upgrade system is also okay, but I mostly tried to go for headshot with the pistol and everything else except the grenade launcher is quite weak.
While I liked some aspects I had quite a bit less fun with this one than the umbrella chronicles, too bad. But I can see myself playing through it again to unlock and upgrade some more.

Great resident evil game it explains and put you on first perspective on different games (Resident evil 2 and Code veronica) much better experience with co-op its more fun.

excelente rail shooter! Faz muito bem o que se propõe a fazer. Jogar com a wii zap é ainda mais legal. a história é boazinha até, já a dublagem é excelente (apenas inglês)

Eu amo esse jogo, mas ele é um downgrade do primeiro. Tenho um Wii só por coisas assim.
