Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.
Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

Set on Christmas Eve. Snow blanketing the streets. It’s the perfect game to play in December.
It plays just like Arkham City. Same fluid combat. It doesn’t rewrite the rules, but I didn't mind. I had fun. And the Deathstroke boss fight? A duel stuck into my memory. One of the best boss fights in the Arkham series.
If you skipped Origins, it’s time to make things right. Play it this Christmas. Let the cold streets of Gotham remind you it deserved better.
