Summary

Alien: Isolation is a survival horror game based on the Alien franchise. As Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley, you will navigate through an increasingly volatile world as you find yourself confronted on all sides by a panicked population and an unpredictable Alien. You must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission but to simply stay alive. In addition to the main story mode there's Survivor mode in which the player needs to escape from a specially designed map fulfilling secondary objectives along the way, while being aggressively hunted by the alien. This mode includes online leaderboards.

There are rarely ever any games where I feel terrified or anxious, or even games that make me screech however this is one of those games. I haven't been felt so uneasy in a while. This game man....this was something else.

I have a huge love for the Alien franchise, I've watched all the films with Romulus being my first ever alien film I watched at the cinema. Wild. I just love this franchise...yes...even Alien Resurrection. Guilty pleasure. Don't judge me😭. (Although I do hate Alien 3 and covenant)

I've played most of the Alien games. So I heard positive things about this. And I just had to try it out. Normally I don't enjoy first person perspective games. However boy was this so good??? Everything about this game feels anxiety inducing, full of suspense and feels like an actual threat. The unfamiliarity of the surroundings, the background noises where you feel anything can pop up. So you're always at the peak of your anxiety because you don't know when and where the xenomorph will appear. (Well the device shows you but even that can make you shit yourself) To me the xenomorph to this day is probably top 3 stalker enemies of all time.

Ripley is a great character, you really feel for her and relate to her as you try your best to avoid to get her killed, while this game turns into a cat and mouse Chase between her and the xenomorph. There's not many weapons you can use, because if you do then that will attract the alien to kill you and you can't even shoot it because it is pretty much Invincible, all anyone can do is basically just hide. But that's what I like about this game. The AI of the xenomorph likes to make your life difficult and learns how to adapt to your gameplay. Meaning that you need to be smarter of where to hide otherwise he will pretty much find you even when you think you're safe from it.

I'm very excited for the sequel. While yes it will most likely take a year or 2 before it drops. I do wish we can do more. More Aliens. And hopefully they will let us use weapons not to necessarily kill them but to at least slow them down like you can do in the Resident Evil 2 remake with Mr X. And hopefully fingers crossed. An Alien queen! Because she needs to be represented she is the HBIC of the hive come on now!

The fucking VIBES. It's like being on the set of Aliens. As soon as the xenomorph started making his true appearances I unashamedly never touched the game again.
Amazing.

two and hours of this is enough, what a freakingggggg game, explored it with my homie yasar, loved most of them, slowly it starts getting irittated as many of the missions were repitative and lazy to watch the gameplay to beat it. even though a must play game to atleast experience the first hour of it.
