Shin Megami Tensei V

Hands down the best JRPG I've ever played, so far. A solid 9.5 IMO. It would have been a 10 (my first one) if not for the slightly repetitive puzzle labyrinth aspect in the last castle section, but it's clearly not an issue. It's just that it works way better in the "open world" sections which represents 95% of the game, hence my 9.5 rating. The game's got quite good reviews but I'm surprised it's not reached over the 90. My first SMT game too. Great gameplay, story, soundtrack is just awesome (you'll want to download the ost) , huge content, demons and more. Take my money Atlus, we want more.

Fantastic in every department except it's very hard and I have no patience for grinding. I barely scraped by the first boss and I don't know if I'll make it past the second.

Most fun I had in a JRPG in a long time, Vengeance ads so much yet the dungeons are still as disappointing
