The main game was developed for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows, while the other three are exclusives for the PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and Wii.

Played the remastered modded Pc version.Cant believe this game was made for so many consoles.
This is so good,I almost forgot to take a break.
Its the Parkour addiction and the mechanics are so hilarious, this doesn't even need combat.
I was in that treasure area where all enemies were following me,Minding my own business, casually walking and they couldn't even hit me once and if they try to block me on my way i would kick them and say try again xD
Oh boy, reliving my childhood but in adult form.

Version en ingles: Forgotten Sands is the most forgotten game in the Prince of Persia saga, it's a sequel to the first and a prequel to the second but without any connection it's just the time in which the events of this game take place. The game itself for me is solid, nothing fantastic, but it's a decent action-adventure game. It maintains the platform gameplay of the PS2 trilogy but adds a couple of magical powers that work well, my favorite being the one that lets you stop time so the water turns solid and can be used as regular objects to traverse places. Combat is where it changes the most again, now it's a kind of hack and slash in the style of Dynasty Warriors. It works but is nothing remarkable. As for music, it's the first time they've changed composers, bringing in Steve Jablonsky and Penka Kouneva who do a decent job. The music works but is largely forgettable. One criticism I've heard a lot about this installment is its length, and I do think it's the shortest in the entire series, but personally it's necessary; the game would have become boring and tiring if things had been dragged out.

Solid game all-round. I could barely stop playing once I started -- I nearly finished the entire game in one sitting. There is never a break in the action; the entire game is like one long yet concise level with zero loading screens (note: I was playing this on the Xbox Series X but I honestly don't think it made a difference), and there were never any tedious or boring sections of gameplay. The combat was simple but satisfying, the platforming makes the parkour in games like Assassin's Creed look boring in comparison and the time rewind mechanic completely removes any frustration there may have been when trying to make those tricky jumps. Seriously nearly every game could benefit from the time rewind system. Also the game cost me $3! As soon as the other Prince of Persia games become backwards compatible I will definitely be picking them up.
