One of the greatest experiences in my life.

Persona makes me more enthusiastic about living. The way this series takes the mundane and makes it exciting has honestly changed my perspective on life and made me a better person. Everyday is an opportunity to improve yourself and experience something new. Our existence in this world is short so we should cherish every second. This isn't a uniquely profound message, but everyone needs a reminder from time to time, and time flies by frighteningly fast.

One day I was in high school, and I had to ask my Mum to let me invite more people to my birthday party because 50 wasn't enough, and the next day I was an adult who was lucky to see his 5 friends maybe once a month…
Do you, like me, long for the simpler and happier days of your youth? Have you ever wished that you could relive high school with all of the knowledge that you possess now because the memories of your embarrassing failures keep you up at night? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then Persona is the perfect remedy for you.

This video game is the closest thing we have to time travel. It is an opportunity to experience high school all over again and to appreciate those special moments that you took for granted when you were younger. You can correct those mistakes you made when you were a dumb kid who didn't know any better (or make all-new mistakes), while also living out your wildest daydreams of secretly being a monster-fighting superhero by night and a high school student by day…
Unfortunately, the fantasy does come to an end. No matter how much time you spend in the past, the cruel and unrelenting passage of time into the future can never be stopped. Time must move forward and so must we.

Persona is an incredibly powerful cocktail of nostalgia, introspection and wisdom, combined with a RPG that has silky smooth gameplay and a compelling story that will wreck you emotionally. Daily doses of this entertaining and therapeutic product can greatly improve your mental health, but be careful not to overdose and lose yourself. Remember kids, this is a video game, and not a substitute for your actual real life…
Anyways, now I must patiently wait for the inevitable remake of Persona 4 to be released so I can die happy.

It's a beautiful jrpg. Everything is smooth and great in this game.

What a fun way to relive the events of Persona 3! I have to say that this is most definitely my new favorite Persona game. Reload isn't perfect, it doesn't have the content featured from FES and P3P. However this remake is purely based of the original version of Persona 3. So there are a lot of improvements when you compare that game and this one. Gameplay being modernized to the standard introduced by Persona 5 is also implemented here, along with some new abilities that are exclusive to this version, one of them being Theurgies. A new unique powerful attack for each party member. These things can make grinding Tarturus a lot easier. Speaking of Tarturus, it has been majorly improved. I've never liked the concept of Tarturus, but Reload makes exploring Tarturus a little less tedious. With new gameplay mechanics that can allow you to search for rare shadows pretty easily, making you able to farm them for Quick XP. Aesthetically, Tarturus is way better than the original Persona 3. Every block is uniquely themed, and each having different layouts for the floors they hold. I really appreciate that since when I played FES, Tarturus felt the same wherever I went. So this is a huge step-ups. For the social aspect side of the game, Social Link options are relatively the same as the original entry, but they now adopt the mechanics that we see in Persona 5. That means you are now able to choose whether to have a fully platonic relationship or a romantic with characters. While the male characters do not get their own social link events, you can still participate in hangouts that will increase your bond with Team SEES, along with strengthing their Theurgies. There are also major rewards just for attending these hangouts, sometimes it's even better to participate in them than going out somewhere else to increase your social stats. One of the rewards even being a minor change in story, for one of the characters. Overall Persona 3 Reload is an incredible remake. It seems there will never be a definitive version to get the full Persona 3 experience but if you only care about the main story of Persona 3, and none of the other side content that have come out over the years, like FES and P3P, Persona 3 Reload is the definitive way to experience the Persona 3 main story.

By far the best game ive ever played. It features the great story of persona 3 while having the look and improvements from persona 5. The combat is great and the story is greater. Must play!
