Taking over fortresses and build your own army and empire was a freaking cool addition .. story is long but never boring, the ending was powerful but also tragic, it wasn't the typical heroic ending and that made it even more impactful .. i will really miss this experience
The main story is sometimes a bit over the place (was my own doing, the way I played region to region), but it ultimately comes together very nicely.
ALSO the multiplayer aspect of this game is what Multiplayer in these kinds of games should be.

Second hardest difficulty
2 months to finish a game, that very out of charchter from me but here we are nonetheless.
The nemesis system greatly improved. The story is better. The combat mechanics got diversified. It took everything from the first game and made it better.
I have a few problems. Like the last game the ending was underwhelming and didn't meet my expectations. And also like the last game there aren't enough charchters.
The biggest problem is definitely the cliffhanger which we'll never see the answer to 🙁
And I didn’t care much about the story until the end. That damn ending… it sat with me.
But the repetition, yeah, it crept in. Still, if you crawled through Mordor once and came out hungry for more… this is a must play.
