Dear diary, I beat half life 2, episode 2 today. I felt so finally relieved because some of these achievements are so f****** annoying. But this game was still very amazing. It takes place in a very beautiful area, which I thought they should’ve explored in Half Life 2, and they did here.

Pros:
- Better graphics
- Better than episode 1
- There’s really cool defence sequences
- Another car to drive in (epic)
- Most of the achievements are fun

Cons:
- Has a massive cliffhanger, that doesn’t get answered.
- The “get some grub” and “Little rocket man” achievement are tedious and annoying. “Get some grub” achievement could’ve been easily fixed by making you kill only 100-200 grubs, and not all of them. “Little rocket Man” could’ve been fixed by implementing a gnome seat into the car.
- That’s it.

This game is fantastic and I love it a lot. I heavily recommend you to play it.

A much better expansion than Episode 1. This expansion holds some of the best moments in Half Life. It's unfortunate this is the last time we play as Gordon Freeman (hopefully I'm wrong)

Spoiler: After seeing the ending, I see why so many people want HL3

So much better than episode 1. That one felt like cut content from the base Half-Life 2, while this one really felt like a next step. Great pacing, real stakes in terms of story, and just plain fun to play. There's something about the Source engine gunplay that always hits (just not with bullets, you miss constantly playing with a controller like I did)
