- It was a really cool game.
- This game is a free mod to Half Life 2, and basically acts like an episode, being a couple hours long, and this time you're playing in the perspective of a Metro Cop. The intro was amazing at showing this.
- In Half Life 2, I killed the Metro Cops and didn't know that they were humans (which I should've seen earlier but that's not the point), but here you killing humans is... a whole different level. Such a small detail yet, every death feels significant as people try and survive. Really well done storybuilding. I also just visited the Firing Range... we don't talk about Firing Range...
- The story is also great, visually very well done and environments are beautiful. I do wish they talked more about the virus...
- Some of the levels have some weird "puzzles", like one where you had to shoot an energy ball at a bright blue light, yet this was never told to you, except that the symbols match on the gun (but this is not enough information).
- The boss fight before the final boss fight was cool, but I wish it stayed in that location and didn't move to another, because it made it easier for me to kill them (in my opinion). Also there was cool music looping when there was a fight, but the final boss fight didn't... why? Feel like some of these levels and boss fights should've been beta tested.
- However, this is free. And it compares to the same smart level design as Half Life 2, and it's fantastic.
The achievements:
- There’s only two achievements that suck, dying 100 times and killing 50 rebels. That’s it. Other achievements are fine.
