Takes everything that makes Doom (2016) great, multiplies it by 2, and adds onto it. That's Doom Eternal in a nutshell.

Doom eternal is my favorite of the new Gen Doom games, the combat is fast paced, difficult and exhilarating. The few bosses it has have been thought out and feel like real challenges that the Doom slayer must overcome.

The level design is knarly and metal, a staple of the Doom games with lots of hidden Easter eggs to find.

The story is nothing special but fits into the hardcore theme of the Doom slayer, one of the best video games protagonists in my opinion. His armour is classic and badass while his weapons are brutal and fun to use (especially the chainsaw).

My favorite part of this game is the brutal finishers you perform on a weakened enemy that bring the whole theme of the game together through a simple combat mechanic.

RIP AND FUCKING TEAR. DOOM PERFECTED! The music, the improved combat, the great story. There's nothing about this game that isn't an improved over the first game. One of my favorite FPS games of all time

I am not into the Doom series as much as others but I still find them to be a good way to kill time. While I had fun, I still find myself thinking "meh" & moving on.
