Released in March 2016, it is the fourth entry in the Souls series and the final instalment in the Dark Souls trilogy. THE INVISIBLE MASTAPEECE

You know its a masterpiece if the Firekeeper twirls for you.
It's so cute, even the dead from grave would cry.
Every time you visit the shrine,it has that melancholic tune of bliss that touches your own soul, your heart.
If Red dead redemption 2 is known for visible details, dark souls is known for invisible ones.
Each and every detail whether it's world design,Art design, game design, sound design are crafted so beautifully that you need to dig deep into its hidden secrets of lore.
They won't tell you but they would tell you, that's Miyazaki experience for you.
Every minute detail is there for a reason which adds so much depth into its story.
That feel vibe and imagining yourself with what you see and experience,it's a surreal masterpiece.
NPCs bring life into this game where you forget how much time you're even playing(not including fights)
Mind fucking blowing boss fights.
Every boss from tip to the toe was perfect, perfect, everything, down to the last minute details.
Pontiff Sulyvhan coz I adore parrying,Nameless king coz I would be knight for him and ofcourse my favourite Dancing of the boreeal valley.
I have never played or seen a boss fight like this one, godaam she was dancing with two swords while the music was playing for her,not you.
Ashen one was petrified, she was making him dance and he was making his moves.
Combat is deep and builds are so unique, you would require multiple playthrough to see them all.
(ngl in game rages are real).
This is critically acclaimed masterpiece only if you played Dark souls 1 and understand the true meaning of Unkindling and its ending in this one.
Like Someone said, you need to experience its magic once in your life.
But,Prithee be careful.
My playtime was 65 hrs, first playthrough where 8 hrs are of firelink shrine, imagine how much I adore her by investing souls into it and then make her twirl.
She not a Firekeeper,She a Tearkeeper.

DS3 had the task of ending the Dark Souls series. This series is one of the most influential gaming experiences of all time. So to say DS3 had a difficult task is an understatement. But I think it pulled it off.

DS3 takes all the lessons learned from its previous entries and utilises an upgraded combat engine from Bloodborne. This combination creates on of the most complete From Software experiences you can buy.

As you play DS3 you feel the existential dread as you explore the fading world that has been masterfully crafted by the devs. You get to experience Dark Souls history as you revisit old locations from the original Dark Souls and find weapons and armour from both of the previous games.

However despite the staggering amount of callbacks, DS3 has plenty of original content for you to experience. I’d argue it’s some of the best in the series.

Bosses such as Dark Eater Midir, Soul of Cinder and of course Slave Knight Gael are some of the best bosses From Software have ever produced. They take everything you’ve learned throughout the past three games and present to you your most difficult challenge.

After you beat them however there’s a sense of melancholy, it’s over. Once you’ve beat these bosses, there’s no more bosses in the Dark Souls series for you to face, the world of Dark Souls comes to a close.

I’m going to miss Dark Souls, many of us will. I’m glad this franchise was put to rest however as it lets From Software explore with different ideas in their future games.

There will be nothing like Dark Souls again. The series had it’s highs and it had it’s lows. It made gaming history and I’m glad it wasn’t dragged out, because what we had was truly special.

After thinking dark souls 2 was suprlisiling good inspite of a few flaws. I was really looking forward for dark souls 3 to iron out all the short comings of 2 and be the first souls-like I truly fell head over heels for. That Was not the case.

didn't complete it, I've played Bloodborne before this game and the gameplay is literally the same, and what's the point of farming souls so you could upgrade your character and end up losing? why do a lot of people think this type of games is fun? it's a complete trash, didn't finish it and never wanna play it again, and why are they adding a lore to the game if it's hidden?

I do believe this is the best DS game in trilogy, and personally the only one I enjoyed. The lore, level design, different variety in way you want to play and multiple endings.Weapons in this game are amazing,I even managed to beat Aldrich and Dragonslayer Armor, went all the way until Lorian and Lothric boss.Managed to beat first round but the second stage is how far I managed to go.Had to use cheats forward in the game. The fisrt time I played I lost a lot of willpower because of how difficult it can be.OST was great.I see why people love this game so much, but the reason I didn't give this game 9 or 10 is because it misses one important thing...FUN.There is no fun to be had while you repeat the same thing over and over again, but I still apreciatte what this game was,a great game.
