Felt like playing a Remastered PS3 title, messy and repetitive. though its gameplay was quite decent.

AC6 is pretty much the best Mecha game out there by far. Combat is excellent, customization is extensive and the mission designs are amazing. You will be seeing a lot of repeated environments, but each mission is played on a different smaller segment of each giant map. FromSoftware did a great job making the same environments not feel repetitive in a ~20h long campaign. Or about 40 hours if you want to o see all the possible endings. The game needs to be completed 3 times in order to get all weapons and parts if you are a completionist. The choices you make on each playthrough will unlock unique missions as well as 3 different endings to the story. It is absolutely worth finishing NG++ to get the "definitive" conclusion of the story (especially if you are an Evangelion fan). The story is good, but the gameplay and customization were enough to make Armored Core 6 one of my favorite games of 2023.

From Soft once again proves that they've got it. If you're looking for the next Elden Ring you're in the wrong place. Armored Core VI is not a Souls-game, it's a mecha game through and through. Though that is not to say that the devs haven't put their past experience with the souls genre to good use. The game offers a great variety of tools with which you can customise your mechs. This provides a rediculous ammount of replayability. The characters make the story, because they all have their own motivations, ambitions and goals. Another highlight of the game is the stellar soundtrack. (Listen to Rusted Pride) Where the game falls flat however, is the difficulty or to put it another way, the constant lack of any. The game becomes far too easy after you've got your perfect build. From there on you start playing the game on autopilot and barely pay attention to the combat around you. This however, does not take away from the fun of the game. It's still fun to build and rebuild you mech over and over again just to see how they'll fair in a mission. Combine that with a stellar gameplay, soundtrack, a compelling story, well written characters and you've got yourself another From software W.

Fromsoft delivers again. Absolutely nothing like the souls games in terms of difficulty and gameplay. This game is not here to bust your balls... It is a pure mech simulator and I'm all here for it. Nothing more satisfying spending hours in the garage, tuning your mech's builds and colours and then taking off and seeing it in action. It's a very addictive loop that Fromsoft have nailed down. It's the same satisfaction you'd get from finalising your build in an eldensoulsborne game, but you feel it at the end of every mission. The gameplay is so smooth, and once you master it, the best way to explain it is that feels like tanks on ice skates. It's so satisfying. My only complaints here which keep this from a 10 is that the game can get a little too easy once you figure out how the stagger system works in your favour. There are builds you can make that basically trivialise the game. Yes, the same thing can be said for Elden Ring. There are utterly broken builds in that game too but it takes effort to reach those certain builds, also there is still a risk of dying in boss fights. In AC6, once you figure out the ideal builds, you will never die again. The gameplay is still so much fun though and I'm looking forward to my NG+ playthroughs.

Beat it 3 times now and as someone who didn't get to play other Armored Core titles it was incredibly fun. Might just have to check out the older games now.

Flawless gameplay. Can see similarities with DaemonxMachina in terms of mech customization somewhat but very different game and far better mission briefings and story. FromSoftware always creates amazing games and sadly I always hit a wall with the bosses.

FromSoft are finally back to their roots. This is quintessential Armored Core. For those that enjoyed the 90s AC games, you are going to be right at home. Brilliant!

Ігруха супер! Мехі потужні і стильні. Приємний графон, зручне керування, крута бойовка. Мехи виробляють різні фінти. Перша треть в міру складна. Деякі боси дают жару. Деякі навіть вибішують. Я не цінувач souls-like игр, але помітив що і сюди додали елемент хардкору. Це стосується деяких босів. На одному застряг години на 4. Проте, коли здолав його, мабуть, відчув те ж саме, що і фанати соулсів. Майстерня по встановленню різних компонентів зброї та елементів керування, в тому числі налаштування зовішнього вигляду, дают можливість відносно легко створити зручний білд. Підбирати ту чи іншу запчастину, навіть приємне заняття. Такий собі трансформер. Від дефіциту грошей тут страждати не прийдеться. Запчастини за що купуєшь, за те й продаєшь. В попередні частини не грав, тому впевнено можу сказати що, жодних проблем з освоєнням функціоналу гри геймером не буде, як і проблем з багами та оптимізацією (PS5). До речі, коли дивився стріми на ПК, помітив, певну проблему з просуванням камери у режимі автонаведенням (захватом цілі та утриманням її в рамках прицілу). На клавомиші воно набагато зручніше, а саме камера завжди встигає за дуже матьорими ворогом, чого не можна сказати про контролер. Через такий постійний і швидкий рух цілі, камера не встигає триматися за неї, тому коли ворог переміщюється тобі за спину, це на певний час стає, наче, сліпою зоною. Особливо це дуже дратує, коли і так з босом, вже другу годину мутузися. У грі три кінцівки. Я отримав одну. Пройшов за 27 годин.

Häftig action och otroligt roligt att pilla med sin mech och testa den fram och tillbaka. Till slut hittar man något fulländat vilket både är mäktigt men också lite vemodigt eftersom man kör över resten av spelet. Topparna är otroliga men det finns en del saker det märks att from soft inte prioriterat stenhårt. 89/100

Cosa que a veces te hace no querer iniciar la siguiente misión -No tiene voces en Español (esperable siendo de From Software)
