Summary

By combining FromSoftware’s longstanding expertise in mech games and their signature robust gameplay, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will be a new action experience.

Felt like playing a Remastered PS3 title, messy and repetitive. though its gameplay was quite decent.

ENJOYED THIS GAME A LOT MORE THAN I EXPECTED!

Visuals could have been better but the gameplay is amazing and fun. The aggressive combat style and speed of the mechs makes it an amazing experience. I have not been a big fan of mech games but after this one, I am excited to play more of them.

The boss fights can be challenging but with the right build you should be able to finish the fight. The game is not punishing and even provides checkpoints through the mission to assist you. This does not mean the game is not challenging, the game provides significant challenge and the difficulty scales as you progress through the game.

This game offers a lot of customisable options. You can fight the game with your favourite builds but at the same time each boss might have their own weakness and certain setups can assist you with the boss fight.

Overall, this game is an amazing experience. It’s highly engaging and exciting to play this game because of its addictive combat gameplay and engaging story as well. Visuals are one department which I would like to see improved in the sequel.

Fromsoft delivers again. Absolutely nothing like the souls games in terms of difficulty and gameplay. This game is not here to bust your balls... It is a pure mech simulator and I'm all here for it.

Nothing more satisfying spending hours in the garage, tuning your mech's builds and colours and then taking off and seeing it in action. It's a very addictive loop that Fromsoft have nailed down. It's the same satisfaction you'd get from finalising your build in an eldensoulsborne game, but you feel it at the end of every mission.

The gameplay is so smooth, and once you master it, the best way to explain it is that feels like tanks on ice skates. It's so satisfying.

My only complaints here which keep this from a 10 is that the game can get a little too easy once you figure out how the stagger system works in your favour. There are builds you can make that basically trivialise the game. Yes, the same thing can be said for Elden Ring. There are utterly broken builds in that game too but it takes effort to reach those certain builds, also there is still a risk of dying in boss fights. In AC6, once you figure out the ideal builds, you will never die again.

The gameplay is still so much fun though and I'm looking forward to my NG+ playthroughs.

THE MECHALIKE MASTAPEECE

Start, stopped, started again, stopped, watched Vaati Vidya lore, started again, eyes flashed after three months of playing.
Couldn't understand anything at first.
26 years of AC,never played any of them, didn't know anything about it,even though this is the franchise that bought fromsoftware from its roots to a masterpiece company which we know today.
Gameplay is just something else, its like they took all the assets and liabilities on souls games and combined it into a totally unique style,Mechalike is what I would say.
It has that same aura of souls but also define its true form.
First game from fromsoftware that I played with MnK instead of controller.
Customisation is the biggest highlight, giving you the best build you can make.
The Lore is huge,I mean big fuckin huge like the world itself.
Bosses are tough, hard enough to headslam but satisfying.
The characters, their names, their builds, each detail is referred in here.
I'm pretty sure this was made for die hard AC fans but if you're new,it can be confusing and might abandon it like me.
It will take multiple playthroughs to get the true ending.
I have heard about New game+ but what the fuck is New game++
Overall, this is masterpiece and if you play,do not play other games side by side like i did,it will lose grip on this.
Raven 621 sighing off.
Only reason I m giving it a 9 is the checkpoint system.

Someone said this is a PS3 game,pfff.
