The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition

God I love this game. The worlds, story, dialog, choices, voice acting, and DLCs are all so incredibly well done. The companions are the real highlight for me, as their personalities are so fleshed out and interesting. Each of them react differently to what you say and do, and it really makes the world come alive. I especially love Parvati and Max; their input and backstories really made me fall in love with the game.

I don't normally like combat involving anything that needs aiming, but this game made it less scary and more strategic with the TTD ability. Being able to change clothes to change your stats was a nice addition too, especially to pass certain skill checks.

While I wish there was more content, it's definitely not a short game if you're a completionist like me (85 hours for one playthrough and I didn't even 100% it, while most playthroughs are supposed to be 30 hours on average 😭). I also wouldn't recommend this to someone who isn't interested in story-heavy, dialog-driven games, as that's a huge part of this game's appeal imo. I'm a little bummed that I beat it but I can't wait to replay it some time in the future!

Has worse performance on all platforms with changes to the artstyle that are great sometimes and a downgrade in the same time

Good game, well-written and funny dialogues and gameplay that is quite fun despite being repetitive. I had to finish just the base game and leave the dlcs for later as I was already coming out of plus and I hate playing things (especially RPG) in a hurry so I chose to finish the base game with almost everything done and my rating was 8/10. 30 hours of game to finish it and with a bit of the dlc that I played was 37

It’s a good game for those who likes futuristic games.

Fallout type of game, and I don't like stuff like that

Pretty good RPG, bringing the feels from Fallout New Vegas to space.
You are the chosen one, navigating a corrupted and satirically incompetent colony run by propaganda, capitalism and enterprises.
You go here and there, kill that and spare this, help those and deceive these, in a traditional Fallout-esque fashion.
The companions are surprisingly useful, being a tactical asset for the highest difficulty.
Overall, a pretty good alternative to Fallout.
