The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition

God I love this game. The worlds, story, dialog, choices, voice acting, and DLCs are all so incredibly well done. The companions are the real highlight for me, as their personalities are so fleshed out and interesting. Each of them react differently to what you say and do, and it really makes the world come alive. I especially love Parvati and Max; their input and backstories really made me fall in love with the game.

I don't normally like combat involving anything that needs aiming, but this game made it less scary and more strategic with the TTD ability. Being able to change clothes to change your stats was a nice addition too, especially to pass certain skill checks.

While I wish there was more content, it's definitely not a short game if you're a completionist like me (85 hours for one playthrough and I didn't even 100% it, while most playthroughs are supposed to be 30 hours on average 😭). I also wouldn't recommend this to someone who isn't interested in story-heavy, dialog-driven games, as that's a huge part of this game's appeal imo. I'm a little bummed that I beat it but I can't wait to replay it some time in the future!

Has worse performance on all platforms with changes to the artstyle that are great sometimes and a downgrade in the same time

Game reminds me of Fallout but has better story and gameplay.
