Although a majority of the criticism this game received is merited, I don't mind it. Back when this game came out sure the price tag for what you got wasn't worth it, but now, this is definitely the better way to experience generation 7. I really like the added story to the game, and again as controversial as the ultra beasts were, I enjoyed the artistic liberty they allowed the designers to make some really weird pokemon that wouldn't really be able to be made. Shiny hunting in this game was also nice with the addition of the worm holes. This is definitely the better game from sun/moon, and even if you only played that game, I still think this is a good game to play

This is possibly the worst game I have ever played. It is cutscene after cutscene. I have completed 4 trials and the game still is holding my hand through everything and forcing me down an extremely boring path. There are so many features in this game that just make for a super annoying experience. I had to surf a Mantine from 1 island to another and made to do tricks for points, my Pokédex talks to me and asks me the dumbest questions, and as I'm writing this review I am currently in a digital festival world where I am forced to greet guests as they teleport into existence. There is no way to opt out of doing these meaningless tasks so it feels like the game is forcing my hand every step of the way. What happened to the adventure that these games used to have? This is not fun in the slightest.
