Pokémon Scarlet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero - Part 1: The Teal Mask

You only wanna get this expansion for the new Pokémon, especially if your faves are here (Clefairy Sqaud ww@).

Otherwise the story here is basic and short, the region is the most underwhelming region in the series so far. It is basically Kanto lite but with only one town and vast empty lad.

Somehow the DLC has even worse performance than the main game. It's only getting a 6 because I like the Pokemon that come with this expansion.

Ok DLC, nothing too awesome but it’s a nice addition.

This DLC is so lackluster, it's hard to justify the price tag even if it comes bundled with a future DLC.

The map is so small and practically empty. There is one town and no significant points of interest anywhere else on the map. I do like the new legendaries and their designs (and Blood Moon Ursaluna is soooo f***ing cool) and the additional pokemon returning are welcomed. The story is dull, the new supporting characters are lame as hell, and there is just nothing to do. After completing the story and Pokedex (which doesn't take long at all) there's is literally no reason to return to the island of Kitakami.

You'd also think that with a map this small and the additional time the devs had to work out bugs that the DLC would perform better than the base game, but it's atrociously worse.

The only reason why I'm even giving this a 5/10 is because of the new pokemon and returning ones (who doesn't love new pokemon?). I'm really hoping the Indigo Disc picks up the slack for this one, but after playing the Teal Mask I'm not optimistic.

It was just alright... Except for the Bloodmoon Ursaluna quest. That was the greatest shit I've experienced in the whole game, it was so damn good

Meh. I wasn’t too interested in the story and it’s still a buggy mess.
