Summary

In Nioh, players will traverse war-torn Japan as William, a blonde-haired swordsman whose background as a fierce warrior and seasoned knowledge of the blade allows him to survive in the demon-plagued land of the samurai. Known as Yokai, these demons inhabit a number of dangerous locations and lie in wait in the shadows to ambush unsuspecting victims. Players will also face off with other samurai in supernatural sword battles and intense, multi-target engagements offering a level of difficulty that will truly test even the most hardened samurai’s skills, patience, and strategy. Offering a deep and original storyline that takes place during the Warring States Period of Japanese history alongside strategic sword-fighting action, Nioh will challenge players in a way that makes every mission and accomplishment feel earned and worthwhile.

Ok, so the game is good I liked it, but for me is kinda hard. The fact that you need to make everything from the start again every time you die is really frustrating lol. And I'm not saying that is the game's fault maybe I'm too sucks :). Besides this, the graphics are really not bad and I liked the gameplay. But it's not worth it unless you're just a calm person haha.

Like Dark Souls but pretty and shitty. Honestly I do think the bullshit meter is just turned all the way up for this instead of balancing it properly because some fights are easy, and some are just dumb. I never felt a good sense of victory after winning a hard fight. Just relief I wouldn't have to do it anymore

Overall, Nioh isn't as good as the FromSoft games, but it's probably the most fun I've had playing a Soulslike. The crazy stance-switching combos, the super moves, the cute little green things to find and the talking spirit cat are all elements that greatly leviate the frustration and the stress that tends to come with games like this. However, the game does become repetitive due to its uninspired levels, ememies and story, but that didn't stop me from beating it and buying the sequel, so it must be good.

This game beat me into liking it.
It had some crazy high paced bosses by it felt limited with thw ganking enemies stamina system. I wish it was like a real crazy action game I guess but it's still alright
