Interesting side plot, but I absolutely hated the card system. Was so happy to see that they never brought it back. Nearly ruined the whole game for me. If you’re a huge fan of KH, I’d say it’s still worth a shot

Here's the thing, the action in this series will always bring all of them up to a 6 but the story of each is what determines if I want to keep pushing forward. I believe the story was interesting as a fan of KDH but if I wasn't it would just be decent.

Horrible gameplay that even the amazing story can’t fix. Sometimes you can be completely iced out from winning a fight because you lost the game of chance. I could not finish this game and I’m too frustrated to try again.

The game with an engaging story but with an ugly gameplay. I am one of these who have chosen the hard path and platinumed it and I'd say, if i will ever want to replay the Kingdom hearts franchise - Chain of memories will be the game that I'll recover by watching narrative videos.
I'm talking about the ps4 Final Mix version of course. It's a really deep game about sensible thematic regarding mind and I found the plot really impacting but the card system is just hell, it gives you a really hard time at the start and then when you learn how it works you feel accomplished until you get really bored from the monotonous constant repeating of the same fights.
Regarding the platinum - if you don't love yourself then go for it, good luck collecting all the Sora's cards and then leveling Riku up to lvl 99.

If you are able to play it without buying then I would say try it out first since there are people that played it and remained satisfied, but its not my nor the majority's case. If you don't feel engaged enough then watch a nice explanation video because if you keep playing without enjoying you will have troubles following the story.

Quite a deviation from the source game, but really fun for something on the gba, probably in the top 10 gba games, a great game overall
