Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is the second game in the Kingdom Hearts series. It is a direct sequel to Kingdom Hearts and exclusive to the Game Boy Advance. It was published by Square Enix and developed by Jupiter, and was released in 2004. Chronologically, it is the third game in the timeline after Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts, and takes place during Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Interesting side plot, but I absolutely hated the card system. Was so happy to see that they never brought it back. Nearly ruined the whole game for me. If you’re a huge fan of KH, I’d say it’s still worth a shot

Quite a deviation from the source game, but really fun for something on the gba, probably in the top 10 gba games, a great game overall

This was unfortunately my intro to Kingdom Hearts and while I love Disney and Final Fantasy characters they couldn't save the terrible gameplay, I got so frustrated early on that I had to quit. I haven't tried a KH game since but watched a friend try the first one and frankly couldn't get into it, there's something about the original characters made for the franchise that doesn't click with me
