I was extremely disappointed by this game. The new armour mechanic is confusing and unintuitive. It looks cool, but it's too much for a fighting game. The story mode is lacklustre. The new additions to the roster was uninspiring as well (minus a few exceptions). Overall, Injustice 2 didn't live up to my expectations at all.

A surprisingly strong fighting game with a single player environment so rich and a competitive system so deep that it caters to both casual fans and dedicated NetherRealm competitions equally. While it’s genera does make it competitive, and it’s story is a step down from the first games, I find myself playing and going through addictive spouts with this one more. A great game.

An improvement from the first for sure. Visually it looks better, it plays better, & the frame rate is consistent. Once again the story is pretty throw away but it is a little more interesting than the first one in that area as well. Better but still mid.
Final verdict: Wait for a sale
