Summary
In Gears of War 2, The COG continues its fight against the Locust horde, who are attempting to sink all of the cities on the planet Sera by using a big riftworm to eat the ground beneath them. Sergeant Marcus Fenix leads Delta Squad into the depths of the planet to try to stop the worm from eating but instead they discover the true intent of the Locust actions.

Awesome, Gears of War already set the bar for me, and brought back a nostalgic form of gaming that I have been missing. Gears of War 2 just continued that feeling, brilliant games.
I like that it's straight into the action, from start to finish it's a full 'attack' on the 'Locust' continuing the dark and gritty tone from the first game. It does such a good job of establishing everything you need to know.
The story just kept getting better and better. Character development is what I like, the developers did a great job of making this feel immersive and just fun to play.
In comparison to 'Gears of War' it doesn't really change an awful lot, but it didn't need to. After all, it's a continuation of the story so being able to jump back in was easy. If you haven't played in 2024 like I hadn't, I strongly recommend.
