After being dissapointed with first 2 entries,I was ready to leave this franchise behind me,but than came DMC3.The only good DMC game I played so far.In terms of gameplay,I gotta say it was impressive. It was very hard to get through the game, one of the most difficult games I ever played.Boss fights were really good,I loved unlocking weapons,my personal favorite had to be Agni&Rudra.Throuought the game, you unlock abilities for those weapons, you got 4 different styles you can use,and it was such a big improvment from first 2 entries.Characters were ok,although as I said in DMC1 review,I'm not interested in edgy badass characters.Arkham had to be amazing villain, because he pretty much carried the story.Vergil was a great villain, you can even play as him when you beat the game, and he uses different moveset than Dante.Dante was fine both design and character but in this one he's kinda annoying badass if I'm being honest.Loved the movesets.Soundtrack was awesome.Heavy metal songs fits these games perfectly. It doesn't have much replay value after playing as both Dante and Vergil. But yeah,it's worth buying, somehow I enjoyed original more than hd version,I quess because I come from 2000's.Overall a great game, definetly saved the franchise

This partys getting crazy.

First the bad.
Some rooms are stupidly vague at communicating what it is you're supposed to be doing especially early on. There are a couple of bosses that have obnoxious moves that will come out way to quick and do too much damage and some of the styles are a little redundant.

Other than that this is high octane cathartic action that really itches you on to get that S rank. I played on normal and didn't achieve a single one but i feel like i probably could still. The variety of moves at your disposal does help make the action alot more explosive and you're encouraged to experiment with them by the style meter, which doesn't like when you spam one move over and over again.

The characters are also briming I don't think there was a single one that i found annoying or wasn't excited to see more of. So many quotable lines and memorable cutscenes that play a level of unseriousness that i have been craving for in a game like this.
