Death’s Gambit: Afterlife is an expansion for Death's Gambit, the 2D side-scrolling Souls-like from developer White Rabbit. Along with six new bosses, Afterlife offers ten new levels, an expanded world and hub, 100 talents, numerous new weapons and even crafting. Multiple endings have also been added as well as some new story content and lore.

I want to like this game more than I did. A metroidvania-rpg-souls-platromer, with nice looking pixel art really is my cup of tea. But the combat only feels decent, not great. I gave up on parrys pretty fast
since it felt wierd. Dodgeroll became the way to go.
Also difficulty curve was spiking mid game and faceroll at the end.
Traversal is sloooow and boring, loading screens between each area and not knowing where to go next is not fun in a modern game.
Game was decent but nothing more.

Imo fast travel should have been unlocked much earlier than before last boss. This would have upped the game by a lot for me.

This is the vision and, what i think they want to make with this story. It is better than the first version, but to be real, i think there are better games in this genre out there.

Magnificent game, astonishing soundtracks and incredible story !
A little bit difficult to take control of the game at the beginning as I'm not a big rpg player but it was perfect !

Death Gambit Afterlife.
Adoro esse game.
Já havia zerado a primeira versão dele tanto no PC quanto no PS5. Mas essa Versão Afterlife melhora tudo no game.
Ai resolvi terminar nessa nova versão.
Metroidvania no estilo Soulslike. Bom demais!!!
