Dead Rising 2

Dead Rising is an interesting series, it sets up to be just your average but fun zombie killing fest but digging deeper it has much more personality and possess unique elements that sets it apart.

Dead Rising 2 builds upon the original rather alot, introducing gameplay feature like combo weapons that became the series stable going forward and it's pretty much hard to imagine the series without it. Visuals are a noticable upgrade over the original, gameplay is enjoyable, fun and challenging aswell.

Chuck Greene is a complete opposite of Frank West personality wise, but his relationship and care for his daughter make him and the narrarite itself quite memorable and compelling.

From issues I would point out difficulty spikes with bosses that are hard to manage without knowing the game well, time limits can be at times too strict to enjoy exploring the open world at leasure, (which by the way setting this game in a casino was brilliant), and the ending (atleast the canon one) is too abrupt with DLC continuing it was not present in the PS4 copy I owned (both case zero and west are not included). Also warning - PS4 version of this game is broken, literally, if you played for hours and near the ending the game soft locked on me and crashed numerous times, so if you plan to play it on PS4 save often, but I will not lower the score for this, but I hope they will remake this game just like they did recently with the first entry.
