Dark Souls

The most influential game of the century. I’ve beat this maybe a dozen times over hundreds of hours. Depending on the day you ask me, my all-time favorite.

While writing this short review , the adrenaline is still rushing in my veins after beating gwen for the first time with melee only . I decided to replay ds1 this time the vanilla version on ps3 to see how does it fare against new souls titles . The main issue I had with this run is that there was a lot of fps drop even outside the infamous blighttown which was a very noticeable problem but It is still playable.  Aside from this  , the game is excellent overall , even on this 3rd playthrough I still got a lot of enjoyment out of it , explored so many hidden parts of the levels , and had a climactic 1 vs 1 fight with the final boss with no magic no pyro  a true epic . The second half of the game was a  bit inferior to the first half but still overall it was am excellent experience.
