Summary

The Bureau studied its most dangerous Altered World Events in this lost sector. The records were sealed, the objects contained, and their powers abandoned. Now, the sector is breached and the objects are loose… AWE brings new story content and side missions as well as new weapons and mods to the world of Control.

The blend of Alan wake style gameplay is so smooth.

Hartman fight was dumb. Otherwise, this is an excellent Alan Wake tie-in.

Fun new ideas. No experience with Alan Wake but the crossover is interesting and cool, especially the weird way it's delivered. I found some of the darkness segments to be a little annoying at times, but otherwise this was still solid good fun

Putting context and expanding the lore of a 13 years old game or smth and doing it right is just...wow

If you're a fan of Alan Wake and you want to be prepped for the second installment this DLC is extremely necessary! It brought up so many questions and some answers that I felt needed to be answered in both games in a satisfying and complex way. I can't wait to see how they continue the stories in the next games, and can't suggest this enough to those who are interested in either Control or Alan Wake's connected stories.
