Visually there was an attempt to give the trilogy a visual lift up, but personally I have not noticed either Brotherhood or Revelations having much of a difference; textures and resolutions are sharper, and performance at least stays at a stable 30 fps, something that was rare on PS3 (but still a shame with not having 60 fps). AC2 of the bunch clearly had more work done, but sadly for the worse, some NPC models especially have weird textures and faces, colors at times are too bright, and different cities have lost their color filters that previously helped to give cities their own identity, but besides that, it's completely playable without any issues.
What I can compliment is the fact that all three games have all DLCs integrated into the games, an odd compliment, but Ubisoft has a problem with restricting access years later due to their poor servers. Now, thanks to this remastered bundle, they are safe from the greedy hands of this company. I wish they would have added some extra content, like photo mode, developer commentary, some never-before-seen artwork, or soundtracks, but it's just the games. Another issue would be they cut away multiplayer modes for Brotherhood and Revelations; sad to see, but I am somewhat glad to be able to finally earn platinum trophies for all three of the Ezio games.
To sum up, this is the only and fairly good way to replay the golden era of Assassin's Creed, the games that are still worth playing through even today.
