This game is a lot of fun to play and you can have a crazy good time going through the main campaign or horde mode with a couple of friends, but it has some things that just didn't fit right.
1.) The soundtrack is horrible. For a game with such heavy subject matter it should sound a lot heavier and darker. I actually ended up turning off the background music off entirely.
2.) There's WAY to much DLC and all of them are way too overpriced. Here's a rundown of what all the DLC prices.
-The last six missions DLC costs $6.99 each or $41.94 for all of them.
-If you want all the character bundles it will set you back $9.99 for eight of them and then $5.99 for the other two. Which comes out to $91.90!
-Lastly there's a Weapon's bundle for $9.99. If you paid $40.00 for the game like I did that total cost would be: $183.83 and that's before taxes. Way too much in my opinion.

So... give me only three rifles for the entire game but lock the ones (that you should earn in game) behind a paywall. Scummy and ridiculous.

After several updates, ZA4: DW has made a promising comeback with several stability patch. It is playable with controllers. And the improvement is dramatic. Great job with the dev team. ZA4 is a classical zombie shooter. You will expect grusome combat ,ketchups, and walking deads. Thats much about it. What behind my 5 star rating is that this the overall story and atmosphere is extemely mediocore and cliche'. The atmosphere is the soul of the game. Even the cutscences are gore, the story telling remains weak and expected. That is a deadly problem for ZA4. A plot with no twist, no high and lows, but a classis zombie soap drama. Not to mention the game mechanics is so common and painfuly ordinary that, for me, this is no difference with other market-flooding zombie shooters. I'm not blaming ZA4 dev teams since extending a franchise is already a challenging task that every game devs will face drained ideas and lack of creativity. That is the reason why Dead space 3 will criticized badly. The best solusion sometimes is to retain the first game, let it age like a fine wine. No continuing episodes.

Ps: except for Resident Evil series that their team is willing to take new ideas and often surprise gamers with its creative game mechanics and totally seperate story lines, and that is a good reference for ZA4 dev team.
