I got this for free on PS Plus & yet I still feel like I am owed a refund. This game is so bad, it's offensive. From the SECOND you start this, you quickly realize that you're in for a rough ride.
The intro starts out like an arcade shooter with rough visuals, irritatingly amateur sound, & wonky controls that pack no weight (especially in its gunplay). This is easily the worst game I've played in recent memory.
I maybe made it 20 minutes & I skipped ALL cutscenes (I NEVER usually do this) because I already knew they wouldn't be worth my time. Let's have a moment of silence for those who bought this game full price.
Final verdict: Don't play it / Burn it with a blowtorch & put it out with your piss

Game starts fun with a decent sized map, but the fun is too short and it doesn't even make use of its various map locations. Literally the game ends at nearly the same area it started!
there're many parts in its world that you barely even visit!!!
The game is empty, not even worth the price unless it is discounted to 20$.
Conceptually, the reboot was very decent from graphics to Gameplay and the new Setup for the more GTA/Watch dogs-like story.. but then fails terribly for being lacking in delivering a complete product!
This game misses too much for an Open-world game! let alone a Saints Row title.

I loved that they wanted to go in an new direction with Saint Row, but it kinda failed. I understand the hate but it was fun to play, if you don’t see it next to their other games
Absolute horrendous piece of dogshit. Volition needs to be shut down.

After some patches I reinstalled this and finished the story. I think it's fair to say that this game has some of the worst writing of all time.
What Volition has done to Saints Row is inexcusable and I really hope they never get to make a videogame again.
The gameplay is not good but after tweaking it in the settings it's actually playable. There are some other cool things in this like the character creator or the lighting which makes the game look pretty good sometimes.
After playing Redfall this past week I also have decided to give this a 2/10 (was a 1/10).
