Summary

Return to Castle Wolfenstein is a first-person shooter and a reboot of Wolfenstein 3D. The player's arsenal includes among others a Luger, MP 40 submachine gun, Mauser rifle with sniper scope, flamethrower, dynamite and grenades. The game also features a multiplayer component in which players are split into Axis and Allies sides with each a set of objectives to complete.

I've only played a portion of RtCW, and I already like it a lot. Great gunplay (as I expect from any Id Software title), fantastic atmosphere, and deep level design really what makes me like this game.

It was a good game for the time, but the concepts are outdated, and graphics weren't enjoyable, still a good story and decent gameplay.

Classic. First time finished whole game last year. Story and scenario is better than some games have today. Great implementation between nazi and ocult, what is not far from true story, at least what was idea for nazi's in WW2. Gameplay is great, fun factor at top. Graphics are very good when you see that game is near 25 years old...

Back in the day, this was everything one could have hoped for out of a follow up on Wolfenstein 3D. I haven't played it since it was released, but games of this quality tend to hold up very well. I think there is a RTCW-Touch app to play it on your Android phone or handheld, will definitely fit well for that.
