*Sigh* I had a little bit of hope for this DLC after the fantastic Lost in Nightmares. But sadly, not only is this a watered down version of the main RE5, which wasn't all that great to begin with, it's also worse than the RE3make. Like, it's not terrible, technically. But it's just kind of bland.

It makes the return to full on action horror, but the only horror I got out of it was being chased by a literally endless amount of foes while waiting for a timer to run out so I could finish this damn DLC. It's even shorter than Lost in Nightmares, which isn't a good thing. But then again, I'm kind of glad I didn't have to sit with this for too long. The plot for it is basically "run away" and while it is a little interesting to see what Josh and Jill got up to while Chris and Sheva were fighting the Matrix villain, it's not that great either. I don't really know how to explain it, it's just overwhelmingly stuffed with enemies and rockets and explosions and I'm sure they thought "oh this will be cool" when they put it all in but it ended up being a little too messy for my liking in all honesty.

What I did like about it was maybe having to use some kind of tactics to overcome the large hoards. And the teamwork was better utilised here since I was the one being launched and I actually got to do shi instead of sitting and watching from a distance. I also found it hilarious as fuck when our helicopter pilot got rocket launched into a million pieces at the end. But other than that, meh. It's nothing. I'll probably forget about it pretty quickly. How disappointing after how good Lost in Nightmares was.

5.5/10

A fun enough DLC story that basically shows another characters perspective during the main story. Not essential to play to fully grasp the story, but if you have the option to, I would still play it.

Causing a mayhem as miss valentine? I’m in.

Gameplay is fine but whatever. The fact that you can’t fucking save your game? One of the worst decisions ever made in RE. Lost controller connection for three seconds and lost all progress.
