Summary

Be prepared to relive the first nightmare in Resident Evil 0, a remastered version of the popular prequel to the original Resident Evil game. This remastered version takes the fear-inducing atmosphere from the original 2002 release and transforms it with stunning new HD visuals, improved sound, widescreen support and an optional modernized control system and more. It's the best way to experience the story of what really happened before the iconic mansion incident that was the catalyst for the entire Resident Evil saga.

Resident Evil 0 has been a game that I have been avoiding like the Plague. I didn't necessarily think it would be shit. It just didn't have ada or Chris who are my favourite characters. However I've decided to play all of them so I started with this one. And boy do I regret taking so long to play this. It definitely was a wild journey. The storyline was fun, the characters had a great dynamic and bounced off against each other. Although I never saw them as a couple to me they were a big brother and his little sister. They had that kinda relationship with one another. I played as Rebecca most of the time as she is the MAIN character of this game so I have to give the girl her tens.

This was definitely one of the hardest Resi games I've played so far and surprisingly I only died twice. I was very calculated with how I wanted to approach this game. I was hoarding everything so I never really ran out of resources. I love love love this game. The villains were lowkey easy to kill the bat and leech Queen were probably the hardest of the bosses. I'd complain about the fact that this game can become a bit of a chore because there is so much back tracking and many puzzles however what truly stops this game from being amazing is the fact you have to drop your items because you can only have 6 things in your inventory which is kinda ass because some weapons take 2 spaces...... so like wtf was that about??? That was foul. And the fact if you died you could only respawn at the last saving point which is also ass cause wtf was that about??? Jail.

I enjoyed this game although I unlocked wesker I didn't bother to play as him because this game was stressful enough I didn't need to relive the cycle.

It's an important installment in the franchise for everything it brings to the story, it's very well connected to Resident Evil 1 and definitely works as the prequel to this. In addition, Rebecca and Billy are a great duo that complement each other.

A completely underrated game.

It's so good, but I suck at the game so it becomes really frustrating to play. Also I'm rebecca chambers wife (real!)
