I played this game through the romhack pokemon Fire Gold and it's a very nice reimagining of the original game. The usual things can be said about this game, the level curve being the main negative of this game. The difficulty becomes trivial towards the last quarter of johto and Kanto seemed like a last minute addition. Red was cool tho
