Summary

Every game after red and blue my opinions are very similar. So instead of giving a full on review I'm just gonna quickly go over why some games have lower scores than others, and also what team I used. Crystal is game boy game hence it's ugly and has bad audio. Hm's and tms are terrible, but the post games pretty good. My team was feraligatr, houndoom, ursaring, Crobat, Donphan, and scizor. Crobat was for sure the goat.

The fact that, only one generation after the original games, Pokemon Crystal perfects the Pokemon gameplay loop to the contemporary standard is astounding. A genuinely fantastic game that is surprisingly compelling, even compared to some of its successors. I loved my time with this, and for anyone wondering if going back this far is worthwhile, I would wholeheartedly recommend this to any RPG fan.

I won't call this game bad... but since this game also has me hunting down the legendary beasts, who are roaming, I can't call this game good either

Roster of Pokemon and setting are great. Sleep talk Heracross and Crobat were fun additions to the team. Bit too much grinding at the end. The suicune story sequence was fun.
