A cozy game with familiarity of mechanics - if you enjoy Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Sims, Animal Crossing etc. you will recognize them!

You, a human, suddenly appear in a world inhabited by a race related to dragons. Humans disappeared long ago, but recently you and others have started to conjure seemingly from nowhere! Follow the main quest storyline through ancient human ruins to help local scholars get to the bottom of this mysterious happenstance!

Train multiple skills, including an extremely pleasing home decor and design system as well as cooking; become close friends with locals, marriage, tons of side quests

Very fun game, low score currently because of multiple bugs/glitches.

Best comfort game

I played around 6 or so hours. It's not a bad game not at all (plus it's still only in beta) - it has all the cozy things you expect: romance, farming, fishing, mining...but it misses the 'just one more in-game day and then I go to sleep' for me.

The villagers are blant. They look very similar. The only one who stood up for me was a robot with a quirk for fishing.

Everything felt like it's taking like a quarter longer than it's should (yes...micro transaction purposes I guess). You can't even sell the furniture you make????? So I was honestly only able to fish to make some money...which yeah it works but it's not something I love to do 24/7 in any game. (But on the bright side the fishing minigame is definitely one of the better ones I saw). Everything is expensive (as I said I played for only +/- 6 hours but I still managed to barely buy stuff for 100 gold...

Also as a side note the gamepad on PC release is broken...the tutorial didn't show half of the buttons so I I had to opt for keyboard and mouse...shame.

But there is one thing that I wish more MMO did - one irl day is multiple days in game. I hate when I can log into the game only at night because duh I'm actually an adult with a job thought a day and all I see is nighttime in the game...so this is a huuuuge plus in Palia.

It's not a bad game but I lost interest for now as there is way more fun cozy games...maybe I'll come back one day once it's fully released.

So far it hasn't disappointed me as a free-to-play game on the Nintendo Switch Store. It's a MMORPG

Really chill & casual MMORPG. I actually really love it.

Picture this:
Take the farming & foraging factors of Harvest moon (INCLUDING THE DATABITLITY OF CHARACTERS EHEHEH XD)
Alongside the overall leveling up & strong gaming community of RuneScape (back in its OG days ofc. RIP, moment of silence 💀)

Here's the thing XD the gaming community isnt LARGE but its sizable and solid asfook XD like genuinely so, and that's another part of why i love it as much as I do. Much like many others, they have social rules that just exist around in the game that you'll pick up on the longer you play. Of course, you'll always have the dweebs who take things a little too seriously but thats gunna be present in any good existing game.

I think its a good game for someone whose looking for story, as well as someone who wants to have a cozy game they can blindly mine

Rating?
Bug hunting/Lvoe (and yes, i spelt it wrong on purpose 👀 deal wit it XD)
