Summary

This is probably one of the best One Piece games from the bunch. The gameplay really sells how fast and powerful One Piece characters really are. The retelling of certain arcs are nice if not a bit brief and the final (game original) arc was cool, even though it didn't really feel like one piece. Overall great game and highly recommend to any One Piece fan.

A solid Musou game! The characters all play like you would assume they would based on the manga and anime. The story covers only specific arcs, while skipping over a few to give a broad recap of the One Piece story (which is fair). The most appealing part of the game is being able to play missions as your favorite characters, maybe with a friend, and unlocking new moves and abilities. It feels really fun to play, but a part of me hopes that they hold off on a new game and wait for it to be finished. That way they can make a game with all of the arcs and characters into one huge Pirate Warriors experience. Also the Wano section feels like a tech demo, completely detached from the manga (which makes sense since the arc was barely started at the time).
