Summary

Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes is the fourth game in the Marvel vs. Capcom series of fighting games. The player's controls were simplified to make the gameplay more accessible to the wider audience of casual players and the button configuration was trimmed down to 4 main buttons and 2 assist buttons. The game also features a different air-combo system and 3 on 3 tag, compared to the 2 on 2 tag from previous games in the series.

Undeniably one of the best arcade games ever made. It's shocking it took me these many years for my ass to play such a hidden gem like this. It has everything you could ask for fast paced challenging fights. Capcom delivered a great roster however I enjoyed using marvel's roster more and I'm very happy that Marvel even had selected underrated Heroes such as my girl Betsy. The levels As I said got harder stage by stage. My main characters to use were definitely venom, psylocke and wolverine. Overall a joy to play. And the music is truly unforgettable.

Definitely a good game, even a great one but to me it doesn't reach the heights of its predecessors, which were among the very best of their class. Can't quite put my finger on it.

One of the broken, unbalanced, yet finest, well developed, and fun 2D fighters ever made and the perfect send off to Capcom's arcade golden years
