Homefront: The Revolution

I might be biased,but I crave for Homefront games.
They are so bad that they are actually so good.
Stupidity at best that makes you laugh even when you're not suppose to do something bad but you do it just to know what the game mechanics really has to offer.
Its fuckin hilarious.

It's a game that got dated because of your gameplay/style like FarCry, but if you try to look to the game with the lenses of that time, you can say that the main game/ DLCs are underrated.

The best parts are the short DLCs, that enriches the world, characters and the main story, which is the weakest part of this game, it's just too generic and they don't make us believe that they're capable of doing a revolution. Also, the world is kind of cool because, the way that we can explore and the different approach to each stash and outpost in the game, it never felt tiring. I have to say that the best part was the modifications that we can do on our weapons, it's a very cool thing and a nice idea from the devs.

I beat this game in Deathwish difficulty, and my worst enemy was the gunplay, that is one of the worst part of this game. If you gonna play this game, just go with auto shotgun with a laser.

Holy cow, what a frustrating game. So disappointing to see a game with legitimately neat ideas get bogged down by a boring mainline story, abysmal shooting (at least on playstation, where it lacks precision entirely, it’s slightly better on PC), and terrible AI. It also drowns itself in "resistance-core" aesthetic (resistance porn, maybe) down to a character screaming "Wolverines," but somehow stumbles into prescience with situations like a civilian calling my actions with the revolutionary forces "un-American." Not worth it to come back to it after all these years and play long enough to unlock Timesplitters 2, not gonna lie, but maybe playing the PC version would be the way to go to do that and see the DLC, etc. *shrugs* 2/4
