Summary

Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where you must lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force.A living, breathing, open world responds to your actions - you and your Resistance Cell can inspire a rebellion on the streets and turn Occupation into Revolution, as oppressed civilians take up the fight.

Underrated game for my opinion I very much enjoyed playing while recording my gameplay and posting them on YouTube

This broken pos glitched on me, blocking a story mission and thus impeding me from progress any further. No way I'm starting it over.

This may be the most underrated game I’ve ever played. I understand that it's stupidly hard even on the easiest difficulty. It did take me a year to finish on and off from the frustration of the game, but after 12 hours of gameplay I finally finished the game, and now I can confidently say that it is a great game that succeeds where so many others don't. It reminds me a lot of the Farcry games: fighting against an oppressive government by taking over outposts across an open world. It's an overused formula, but it works in Homefront, where the unique world and story go hand in hand to compliment the gamers' experience throughout Philadelphia. At the start of the game, you can't walk through any of the zones without dying, but after converting outposts, it became easier and easier until you can take a leisurely stroll through zones with resistance fighters walking the streets. The world is also beautifully designed, with every corner of the game feeling alive. The only real criticism I have would be the forgettable characters, a bit of repetition, small areas, and the difficulty, but even then it's not that big of a deal when considering all of the set pieces for the game. Please give this game a try; it is a treat.

Good plot but the gameplay isn't the best. There's loads of bugs and some stuff is really hard to figure out. Still recommend it if you have nothing to play or are just curious.
