Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker

Best ending expansion for one of the best games ever. 100/10.

A riveting conclusion expansion to an epic saga of the base game and it's prior expansions, Endwalker finalizes quite a bit with another wild ride following the end of Shadowbringers and it's patch content. While Endwalker added updates to most of the usual content, such as raids, tribe quests, crafting and gathering content, and more- it's become mostly unanimous in the community that it failed to deliver an engaging post story experience. Though the story is generally on par with previous epic tales, Endwalker's lack of midcore content, somewhat lackluster raid sagas, missing relic grind, failed Variant/Criterion dungeons plans for popular group content, and other odd decisions, marred it's life cycle, but pushed content creators and the game's staff to rethink how casual the MMO has become and built inspiration for the next expansion. While still easily more entertaining and full of quality content, more than many other game's expansions, it's still a fun ride. Players who rode out it's life cycle have struggled to hold interest and many have been patient- but future new adventurers will most likely be in awe of the first main storyline finale, and will probably blow through it without much disappointment. Divisive among fans, Endwalker is certainly controversial, but still stands as a well designed story with plenty of twists, good characters, and fun or interesting locations- all of which carries it, aside from what it lacked. For me, its still FFXIV, and deserving of its score.

It's like Avengers: Endgame if that movie was good.
Shadowbringers is still better, but this one is close.

I cried so so hard I love that game

My favorite expansion so far, and favorite story. They always get really dark with the story, but in the best way possible. A lot of clarifications happened, old stories from the base game were linked, making it so much better. Can't praise it enough. As usual, more levels are added, level 90 can be reached in this one and 2 new classes, Reaper and Sage. They can be unlocked by having at least a level 70 from older classes.
