Summary

Final Fantasy X is the tenth main installment in the FF series and the first title released on sixth-generation consoles. It was also the first game to feature fully three-dimensional areas rather than including pre-rendered backdrops, and the first to include voice acting. Final Fantasy X tells the story of a star blitzball player, Tidus, who journeys with a young and beautiful summoner named Yuna on her quest to save the world of Spira from an endless cycle of destruction wrought by the colossal menace Sin.

A timeless and beloved RPG classic. Original PS2 release is base-game FFX, international edition JP release and all worldwide future releases of FFX/X-2 Remaster are complete with additional content.
FFX has a solid story, unforgettable unique characters, a solid turn-based battle system, an amazing soundtrack, that takes you on a journey. Whether you're a casual or hard-core RPG enjoyer, there's something for everyone here.

Fully voice acted cutscenes and high octane full rendered cinematic sequences make FFX a hit that was way ahead of its time and still holds up strong 20+ years after release.

If you're not into turn-based RPGs this might not be the one for you but is still worth a shot, it's been an entry point for many. You don't need to know the rest of FF to play it, at all.
If you're looking for a non-turned-based action orientated playstyle, future FF's like FFXV, XVI, might be for you.
FFX is celebrated often as one of the greatest games of all time and is highly deserving of such. Though many find late-game grinds and challenges a little frustrating, the satisfaction is worth it.

The main story is pretty casual so long as you keep up on the game's skill tree, the Sphere Grid. It's easy. Generally a lot more easy than most other games in the series. Though do not underestimate this one, a few boss encounters and puzzles are enough to stop you in your tracks if you think it's just a relaxed amusement ride to the end.
The English cast were incredible. The direct sequel, X-2 has a much different tone and is jarring initially for many due to its focus on feminine strength and Yuna's personal journey in a very changing and different world following FFX, a much more solemn, emotional story, but both games are really amazing achievements with great gameplay, chatacters, music, and timeless memories.
It's had enough to enthrall me for two decades enough to bring me through several playthroughs, and again when the Remaster released, and I know I'll be back again in Spira someday yet again. Also, FFX-3, a third game in its story has been discussed for years at the developers office and it's been stated to be in the queue for future projects. When that hits, it's gonna be big, so it's a good idea now to experience this masterpiece asap.
Hahahahahahahahaha!
