Summary

BLACKSAD: Under the Skin - A dark corruption scandal in the heart of the New York City's underworld for charismatic detective John Blacksad! Based on the noir comic series by the same name. The game features a noir detective story about a PI by the name of Blacksad that gets dragged into the case of a murdered boxing club. The game feature an interactive system much reminiscent of Grim Fandango where you have direct control of the character and only things that catch his gaze is interactable.

I want to like this game. But, man, was it clunky. If there's another one, hopefully they can partner with Telltale or a similar developer to polish the gameplay.

A decent game that provides a compelling mystery. Definetly recommended if you're a fan of Blacksad graphic novels since it captures the style of the series well. The game is quite buggy however.

While a bit buggy at times, it's a great Noire detective game with fun puzzles and interactions

A fun but ponderous detective game. If you're into Telltale games, or want to solve an elaborate mystery, it's highly recommended.

Pretty decent game! Interesting characters, intriguing mysteries and it's fun to try and find clues and make deductions.

Sure it can be a bit like 'i know what the answer is but I don't know where to find the item to show that', then you Google it and it's like 'use the clue' and then your like YES BUT WHERE DO I FIND THE CLUE. But nothing overly frustrating or anything.

A couple minor bugs with the timing of subtitles and dialogue, and also sometimes the dialogue not matching the subtitles but nothing drastic.

There are some funny moments in this game and the lines 'i'm a seacat, my name's John' and 'he insisted on buying me a milkshake (which he drank)' made me laugh way more than it should have.
